The sustainable development goal 5 has the ambition to achieve gender equality and empower all women but how is this in the funding area when you want to develop your own research and development project? How is the coordination and allocation of funding to gender equality efforts? Are there differences on national or European level?

In this session we will give an overview of the funding opportunities and focus on non-dilutive funding. In particular, with the launch of Horizon Europe this year we will discuss how the gender dimension can best be integrated into RD&I projects while promoting gender balance, and gendered innovations.
